Caregiving Rates

 

Boarding: $5.00 per day
Boarding includes the daily care and feeding of any animal at Planet Llama LLC.

Note: Cria at side of dam will incur an additional $1.00 per day.

Handling: $5.00 per event
A handling fee is added for any additional care, per event. ie: oral worming, behavior testing, flushings, medications, injections, animal restraint for veterinary purposes, tooth trimming, shearing, etc. (does not include medications, which will be billed by attending veterinarian (controlled meds) or Planet Llama LLC (general meds)

Birthing/Maternity Fee: $300.00 (basic fee)
14 days before paca is due, the paca will be in a climate controlled environment and monitored both in person and by wireless audio-video system (fancy word for camera).

Other fees may be incurred due to distocia, ceasarian, medications, etc....

Other Fees:
Oversight of breedings will be billed according to time involved. ($10.00 minimum, $20.00 maximum)

Toe trimming: $2.00 per foot

Injectible and oral wormers will be billed by volume in addition to the handling fee.

If special feed or stalls are needed for an animal an arrangement will be made and agreed on in advance, depending upon the animals' needs.
